Over the past few years, Adecco has incorporated several “green initiatives” including forming a “Going Green” committee. Many initiatives currently in effect have been initiated in the Adecco US Corporate facility, located in Melville , NY , however many of Adecco's branch offices throughout the nation have also incorporated green initiatives.

Nationwide initiatives

• Promotion of direct deposit and paperless pay advices
• Promotion of mass transit use where applicable by offering pre-tax commuter and parking benefits
• Currently moving towards paperless web based onboarding of employees

Corporate office

• Use of recyclable bins for plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and paper
• Sole use of green, eco-friendly cleaning products
• Automated energy shut off (lights, heating/cooling system)
• Encourage employees not to print e-mail and move to more of a paperless workplace
• Encourage employees to use ceramic mugs rather than disposable cups for coffee
• Restrooms are equipped with energy efficient automatic flush/faucet/soap dispenser
• Use of recyclable paper products and office supplies
